A collection of work with a palette inspired by rosacea, acne, blemishes, freckles, birthmarks, scars, and tan lines from time on the coast. Exploring her own skin and its ailments; the intimate details, crevices, and subjectivity of existing in one’s own skin, and the self that occupies this shell/capsule/sack of skin.

This body of work was displayed in a group show, “Only the shallow know themselves…” in February 2019 at the Albertine Monroe-Brown Gallery in Kalamazoo MI.
